How to avoid getting flagged on myspace.
Here’s a few tips on how to keep your account living away from the nasty clutches of the myspace l33t.
1) Messages
It’s almost getting to the point where if someone doesnt know you, they pretty much flag you for spam. I’ve had my own friends flag me for spam simply because they were in a bad mood! If you want to keep your account active and useful, then watch your messages. Use your bot to regularly reach out and message your friends list, when they reply you might have to respond personally, but hey, quality leads are what you are looking for right?
2) Limits
Cross the line, your ass is mine. I cant remember what movie thats from but thats the stance on trying to send more than 350 adds a day. Limit yourself…relax…have a beer. or twelve.
3) Bulletins
Spamming bulletins every 15-30 minutes is a sure fire way to alienate your audience and myspace does keep track of your postings as well. So chill out.
4) Adding Speed
Honestly, i do not know what the policy is here. A lot of people believe that if your program operates too quickly you will be flagged. Lots of programs offer the option to set an action delay. Theres not really any way to know…unless you work at newscorp or whoever runs myspace nowadays.
5) Messages
Yea, i said it up there, it’s worth mentioning again. 99% of the time, if your myspace is going to get blacklisted, this is where it will happen. Make your emails humorous, relevant and short. NEVER send mass messages from your main account, always include the add to friends button to the emails and you’ll be rockin.
