BotReviewer.com Review:
GUI
Thank you spyder. Thank you for not being ugly. I love you for it. I dont mind having you open on one of my desktops because you look like christmas morning. This is hands down THE BEST gui out there. This program makes full advantage of its verdana font, rounded corners and pretty icons. Primarily this program functions as a friend manager. Oh god how i hope this is where the adders/bots are headed. Everything is well laid out and couldnt be more beautiful.
Ease of use
This program is easy to use. It is a friend manager so it doesn’t function primarily as an adder/bot. This will be different than any other bot you have ever used. Learning curve of 10 mins. ![]()
Support Desk
There is a built in help section with the program. All info is also mirrored on their website. Other than that there’s a email address for extra problems. No forum tho =/. With so many adders out there its hard to imagne not having a community of users surrounding a program this good.
Features
Pull up a chair my friend.
First off, lets discuss the idea of a friend manager.
When you login to the program with your myspace user / pass, the program automatically downloads all your friends and their main info. This can take time to download your friends, espically if you have over 10k or so friends. The program periodically updates the friend list and your friends associated interests and profile details. In the center window you can either view your friends by their main profile pics or by a simple description. The manager also provides the option to filter your friends into friends, strangers (people you havent added yet), bands, men, women, and other. While viewing any of the filtered categories, you have the option to search just like in OS10. This is amazing. It’s very quick and very accurate. You have various options to search for like age, city, name, hometown. Good for finding that one kid that messaged you saying you could stay at his house when you went on tour.
It provides you with the ability to view a particular users profile without being subjected to their awful HTML that they think is teh cool, but is teh ghey. You can view their friends in one click to message or add them all. VERY useful.
There is a tracking session where you can see who you’ve added, befriended, messaged, or commented.
There is of course timing from 5 seconds to 60 seconds for all actions. This is essential. Bulletins have intervals.
There is a messages category which keeps track of incoming friend requests. Auto approval is of course included for these. It also provides you with a timesheet of what bulletins you sent and when you sent them. Pretty impressive. Doesn’t stop there. You can also access your myspace inbox and sent emails directly in the program. Do you see why i like this program? I DONT HAVE TO GO TO MYSPACE.COM TO DO ANYTHING!
You also have the options of importing and exporting your friend lists.
Functionality
On the topic of speed, this program is very memory intensive. Periodically the program will prompt you to save the friend lists. You can get around this by going into preferences > general and selecting the interval at which you wish to backup your friends list. The more often the program backs up the quicker it runs. The more friends you have the slower or more frequently you will need to save the lists.
The only thing that i find off here is that adding is a bit strange. It’s not that it doesnt work right or anything, but it’s just awkard. Unless i’m missing something, there doesnt appear to be any way to add friends from a google search or any other way than by viewing someones friends.
(No longer will speed of adding / messaging be a factor in this category. This will be program functionality)
Overall Rating
SpyderX has evolved as a major player in the myspace automation scene. For those of us using macs who don’t feel like running bootcamp or parallels just to have a myspace adder, this is a godsend. This program is PERFECT for those who need to maintain constant contact with friends. This is a PERFECT tool for bands on the road. I can’t think of any better program for that situitation. This program is ahead of other adders you’re looking at, i would HIGHLY recommend having a look at the demo. Keep up the great work SpyderX!
